| We need to greatly decrease the public financing of the Prison for Profit System (Prison Industrial Complex System). These private prison systems have targeted the citizens of color making them the new staple crop in the State of Colorado. These direct pipelines also feed the school to jail track and mass deportation of immigrants. There should be an increase in technology to correct police accountability with body cameras on ALL officers that come in contact with any civilians while on duty. There should be guarantees that education funds are used in a strict fiduciary capacity. | |||

| The three important priorities for Colorado I would like to address are Education, the Economy, and the Environment. The current funding sources should be strictly monitored. There is gross mismanagement and misappropriation of state and federal funds. There is also previous legislation that has been passed by the legislature and the vote of the people though Bonds, Amendments, increase of property taxes, etc. for funding purposes. It has been through repeated ?bait and switch tactics? funds were redirected from the projects. Once there is an accountability of project funds to determine a true need of additional funding. |
